Twilight names continue to be popular baby names
With the popularity of Twilight, there has been a rise in the number of babies being born and given Twilight related names. How many Bella, Edward, and Jacob babies do you know?

Then, the Chicago Tribune did a great article on the matter, noting Twilight likely had at least some impact on the popularity of these names, considering this has happened with other instances of pop culture in the past, like Friends or Buffy or Bewitched.
This year, Isabella was reportedly the third most popular baby name for girls, while Jacob was the fifth most for boys. Other Twilight-affiliated names were also among the top ten for boys, including Jackson and Mason.

New interview with Taylor Lautner by Movie Fanatic
After Eclipse, one might think that Taylor Lautner had his moment in the spotlight. But Lautner’s Jacob Black is at the center of the action of Breaking Dawn Part 1 and the key to Bella (Kristen Stewart) for survival against an attack. Lautner was a fanatic when working with a new director, Bill Condon, q for the importance of the new Twilight and Jacob the importance of the new story, Breaking Dawn.
FAN: Jacob has really grown in the movie, have you seen a change in the character you’ve done for years?
TAYLOR LAUTNER: I was very excited about this because Jacob becomes a man who has to make many decisions, which is being divided between the two families was very hard, much harder for me, but do not know what to think it, as soon as we sat down - the three of us sat down with Bill - we talked about the characters. I can really say that I could not have done it without the help of Bill. He is absolutely amazing and we talk all the time. I trusted him was very special and I’m very happy to see the movie, Jacob begins and ends here and is very exciting to see him in a totally different light than before.
F: What will not miss the Twilight saga?
TL: Do not wear clothes (laughs). I mean the weather where we filmed, the two do not go together very well. I love Vancouver but we have to shoot when it is rainy and too cold when the sun comes out we have to stop filming. But honestly I can not even think about complaints or anything that I would not do for all you gave me. This is absolutely unreal and not see it coming at all, no one vio.Mi mind is not even there. I am very grateful for what this has given us all the opportunity given and as actors.
F: Did you feel like a veteran of the saga that could put your two cents to your new director? q or do you think you should do differently?
TL: Fortunately not. I mean, we’re so open with us I’m sure that anyone would have spoken, but Bill made us feel comfortable to begin with, because it could be a challenge playing the same character for 5 films with a different director each time. But Bill was amazing, I’ve respected for a long time, even before having the opportunity to work with him ..
Q So I was able to rely completely on it .— We all were - which was very important.
F: After a long time to be Jacob in the Saga, are waiting for your next role? And to break that image as it is with No Escape?.
TL: I’m all that special to me, and I have very clear, it is almost a compliment to be pigeonholed because that’s our job, our job is to convince the fans in the character, so in that sense we are trying to do for ourselves that that is the goal for the fans.
But at the same time, of course, as actors want to be able to go out and do different things and challenge ourselves to different characters. So yeah, it’s very exciting in that it is coming to an end and as players we must get out and experience different things, challenge ourselves and grow but at the same time is very difficult because it has been a very important part in our lives.
F: Who are we surprised that become very good friends with the Twilight Saga?
TL: It’s a good question because I definitely would say that we are all very good friends. One person I’m very friendly and happy and could not be unexpected because the franchise and I killed him is Edi Gathegi who plays Laurent, is an amazing guy and we are very close. So perhaps it is unexpected because I have not even filmed a movie with him in recent years and the last time I did it out of the franchise and bit my head, so I apologize to him for each day (laughs) . No, but it’s a great guy. At the same time we’ve all grown very close and it’s amazing how much we get along, and I can not imagine shooting this if we had not been so. It would be a total nightmare.
F: So long after Bella for 3 years, you print from a baby?
TL: I have a baby?, Yeah yeah (laughs) I got more at this point. I remember the first time I read the book, the fourth book came out and I was like “Well, what will happen, What will happen? Edward will end up with Bella?, ¿Jacob will end up with Bella? “. I was very confused. I was like “Wait he was trying to win Bella all the time and is now with her baby. It really took a second, you have to be careful because it is something very special and is not romantic, so I definitely had to shoot a certain way and I think Bill did an amazing job with that.
F: Finally you be working with Gus Van Sant coming up?
TL: He is a very talented manager I’ve always admired and I’ve always wanted to work. It is too early so there is not much to say other than that I really respect and I would love to work with. Umm … There is a project that is floating somewhere on this planet.
