Daniel Radcliffe answers trivia, including Twilight, with MTV’s Josh Horowitz (1:40)
Three of the most profitable on the planet names are graduates of Potter: Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. Other three are of Twilight: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. Potter boys were locked in their time series, and have had to negotiate a very public adolescence.
Radcliffe is a bright boy of 22 years of age, and Watson an expert of 21 years of age, but the memory of the characters of apprentice wizards - will remain forever.
In a way, some have already taken their first steps. Radcliffe appeared in an indie film, Australia, December Boys, Stewart I play Joan Jett in a film about The Runaways Roker, and Watson had a small role in My Week with Marilyn.
But the serious business is to come. This year, Radcliffe plays the lead in the ghost story The Woman in Black (premiering Feb. 10), a senior film directed by James “Eden Lake” Watkin, with the script of Jane “Kick-Ass” Goldman. Watson, meanwhile, it appears that supposedly will have a role in the film co-produced by John Malkovich, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Grint is not in the same group of high level, but that means you can take some risks in projects more sharp, and is currently signed to a biography of Eddie “the Eagle” Edwards.
No doubt, Pattinson seems to be doing more interesting movements. At 25, is the oldest, and cut his teeth as Cedric Diggory in the Potter films. In the past has shown an inclination literary / artistic (I play Salvador Dali in his latest film Little Ashes pre-Twilight), and going that way next year, Bel Ami (released on 02 March), an adaptation of the Maupassant novel. Later this year we should be getting Cosmopolis, another literary adaptation (from the 2003 novel by Don DeLillo), showing a millionaire Pattinson trapped in a limo for 24 hours. The director is David Cronenberg, most likely it will be very special.
